In 1917, war poets Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon met at Craiglockhart War Hospital. Wilfred suffering from severe shellshock and Siegfried dodging a court martial - they found themselves inexorably drawn to one another.

In 1918, just a week before the war ended, Wilfred died. In 1967, Sigfried died, still wondering if Wilfred's death was his fault. Is it possible for love to prosper in the afterlife?

HYDRA is an unashamed queer reclamation of two icons of British literature, who, despite being known across the country for their verse, have had the historical fact of their sexualities rendered invisible.

This is a story about repression and freedom, guilt and forgiveness, death and eternity - but, above all, this is a love story.

HYDRA is currently in development and looking to tour in 2025.
